Postcard 224...Trade Being Arrange!
This postcard was made from an old, piece that incorporated 19th century engravings of furniture and frames applied to metallic foiled and hand stitched linen. A chiffon overlay and free motion embroidery were added before the work was cut into postcards.
The reverse is signed and dated in free motion embroidery on commercially printed fabric.
I'm thrilled to be trading with Lisa who does amazing shibori work and has a stitchin fingers page here. Lisa blogs here.
