This postcard was created from an older piece that included appliquéd letters with hand stitching. It was cut into strips and reassembled. Previously painted WonderUnder (Bond-a-Web), metallic foiling, chiffon, assorted threads and machine embroidery were added before the work was cut into postcards.
The reverse is signed and dated in free motion embroidery on commercially printed fabric.

I'm thrilled to be trading this postcard with Leslie in Malawi, Africa. We'll be using her mother's address in South Africa as Leslie will be moving soon and the postal service in Malawi is slow...don't want the postcard floating around Africa alone!
